Conditions Treated

I utilise a wide range of hands on treatments for all age groups including cranial work, local joint realignment, articulation and deep tissue or muscular massage.

My treatment plan works entirely within the needs and expectations of the individual patient.

My wide ranging and well researched technical skills enable me to assess and successfully treat an extremely wide range of presenting symptoms in patients ranging from inconsolable babies, active sporty types and active older patients wanting to live their lives to the full.

Typical symptoms that respond well to treatment include;

  • Back* and neck ache/pain (*lumbago)

  • Headache and migraine

  • Sciatica and other nerve impingement

  • Shoulder, elbow or wrist injury

  • Hip, knee and ankle trauma

  • Rheumatism, Fibromyalgia

  • Whiplash injuries

  • chronically unsettled or restless babies and those who suffer periodic unexplained stressful episodes

There are some conditions that can not be directly influenced, as they involve pathological dysfunction. The body, working properly however, can deal with such problems more effectively, often to the point of being symptom free.

Such problems include;

  • Arthritis

  • Asthma and breathing difficulties

  • Digestive problems

  • Sinus blockage/glue ear/tinnitus

  • Circulation problems

  • Stress and inability to relax

All adult treatment sessions involve a postural assessment. Advice related to posture follow the principles of tai chi and involves simple standing exercises that can be worked into daily life. This approach is particularly useful when advising non sporty people who cant make time for formal exercise sessions, making changes in lifestyle where it is possible and practical.

Thank heavens for Graham, a cure for all the pains that come from being a golfer. A quick treatment and my body is back as it should be! - Sue A (Akers) Hertford Heath
